Our Vision

We envision a world in which women & young girls are equipped with the skills to become self-reliant bread earners. More often than not, many people provide temporary relief to long term problems. At The Baqar Foundation, we aim to provide long term solutions by helping women acquire skills that will allow them the financial independence they need.

Our Values

Integrity

As we accept donations from various organizations and individuals (even Zakat and Sadka-e-Jahria) we remain completely transparent with where and how our funds are being utilized. All our initiatives are shared on our website, Instagram account, Facebook page, and personally with our donors. 100% of the funds are used towards our initiatives. Our team members are all volunteers who donate their time, efforts, and money to help the cause.

Empowerment

The Baqar Foundation is devoted to helping women become independent bread earners in Pakistan. At The Baqar Foundation, our main focus is to help these women acquire skills that will aid them in becoming financially independent rather than providing temporary monetary relief.

Community

Success is never achieved by one individual. The Baqar Foundation encourages collaboration and works with companies and non-profits to achieve its goal. We are always interested in creating new relationships with those who share our vision and mission. The organization does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, and sexual orientation. We, at The Baqar Foundation believe that we are stronger together.

Our History

The Baqar Foundation was founded in 2018 by Zeever and Baqar, who shared a common vision of empowering underprivileged communities in Pakistan. The idea for the foundation emerged from their firsthand experiences witnessing the challenges faced by women in marginalized communities, particularly the lack of opportunities for financial independence.

What started as a small initiative to provide vocational training to a handful of women in Karachi has grown into a comprehensive organization dedicated to creating lasting change. Through their unwavering commitment and the support of dedicated volunteers and partners, The Baqar Foundation has expanded its reach across multiple communities, touching the lives of hundreds of women and their families.

Today, The Baqar Foundation continues to honor its founding principles of integrity, empowerment, and community collaboration. Every initiative we undertake reflects the original vision of our founders: to provide women with the skills and resources they need to build sustainable, independent futures for themselves and their communities.
